Each January I fool myself into believing that this year I will be on top of everything. That being said, life seems to interrupt my plans.
As I get older, I have come to realize that perhaps my expectations were to lofty compared to the reality of the life I am living. The "Super Woman" of the 90's has been replaced by a moment cherishing person of today.
So this year I am focusing on balance in both my public and private life, hoping that this will allow me to savory moments and opportunities that come my way. I still plan to reach out for new opportunities, but I also want to focus on allowing myself some creative time in my studio so I can grow as an artist.
These past few weeks I have been working away in my studio planning and preparing samples for upcoming classes. I am excited by this years classes and hope to see some of you in them! As I write this post I am planning to submit some new class proposals to a few new venues, and I am getting ready to participate in the Craftsy Instructor Summit in Denver, CO. I am eager to see what this will bring about.
How about you? What are your hopes and dreams for 2016? Please feel free to share--I am inspired by others plans and projects. Wishing you the best, Linda B
