The Foundation Paper Pieced Pincushion Workshop

This past week has been quite an adventure in our home.  What started as a visit to the doctor's office, ended up being an unexpected, emergency surgery.  I do want to say thanks to all those who came to visit, called and sent prayers my way.  Brett and I really felt the love of all of you.

That being said, as I was recovering I was able to finish editing the videos for my Foundation Paper Pieced Pincushion Workshop.  I am so excited to finally launch this on my online workshop platform.  It was a goal of mine to offer more workshops online.

The workshop is designed so the student can sew along with me by pausing the video.  The student can also ask questions and leave comments in each section.  Also, workshop materials can easily be downloaded and printed to have as you go through the workshop.

I am excited to share with you this brief introduction into the Foundation Paper Pieced Pincushion Workshop!

You can check out my class, by clicking this link!

I am using this workshop as a Sew-Along in the Linda B Creative Facebook Group.  Be sure to join the group and use the coupon code to get a discount.  But don't wait--It expires on February 28, 2019.

As a special thank you to the Sew-Along participants I am hosting a Give-Away in the Linda B Creative Facebook Group--another great reason to join us!

On to my other projects!  May your week be creative,

Rooster Creek Quilting, Where Quilting is Always Fun!

Three.. Two...One....Action!

This past month I was so excited to be a part of a special project with Rooster Creek QuiltingMike and Teresa Cuno approached me to be a part of their new quilting program, Rooster Creek Quilting, I didn't hesitate to say, "Yes!"

It was fun to plan and discuss our vision for this new and exciting program.  Our goal is to create a show that allows the viewers to look in on quilters discussing and sharing techniques they have found to be effective in their quilting projects.  Thus promoting our love of quilting and our favorite techniques.

The first program is sharing hints and tips to foundation paper piecing or commonly referred to as "paper piecing".

Both Teresa and I love the accuracy that you can get when paper piecing, and the variety of projects you can accomplish with it.  In fact, we had so much information to share, it will be a two part program.

So whether you are a newbie to quilting or an expert, take a moment and watch our new quilting program!

Be sure to like and subscribe to the channel to keep up with our new quilting adventure!

This month I just started my Paper Snowflakes BOM, at Rooster Creek that focuses on foundation paper piecing and using a variety of techniques each month. If you are interested, contact Rooster Creek at www.RoosterCreekQuilting.com.

Also, in my Linda B Creative Facebook Group we are working through our first Sew-Along for 2019 which is a Foundation Paper Pieced Pincushion.  Be sure to join in the group and get in on the fun!

Keeping you inspired,

Quilting Quickies

Quilting Quickies is a class that I offer every other month at Zede’s Sewing Studio.  It allows the student to investigate or improve their skills in a variety of quilting techniques.
From buttons to beading, and various ribbon techniques all are done with the sewing machine.

A variety of ways to do trapunto by machine.
Perfect points are possible with paper piecing!

Topics covered vary from crazy quilt piecing and embellishing by machine, to machine trapunto, paper piecing, and basting, borders and binding techniques.  This next year I am looking into using more technology with our class.  So if you are looking for something new, keep an eye on my Quilting Quickies classes.
